The SNCB never stops looking for ways to improve its customer services.
Timetables can now be consulted even without a computer. Today, the SNCB offers the information most often consulted by travellers on WAP.
You no longer need brochures or a computer connected to the Internet to consult the timetables. Whether you’re in the countryside or on a highly popular shopping street, your train schedule is at your fingertips with your mobile phone.
Your timetables on mobile phone
To request timetables of the SNCB’s domestic trains by mobile phone, your phone should be WAP-enabled (mobile phone Internet services).
Which mobile phone operators offer the service?
- Proximus - via the “Vodafone live!” multimedia portal. Find more information in the "Practical Info" section.
- Mobistar - via the “Orange World” multimedia portal. Here, you should go to the “Practical info” link, followed by “SNCB”.
This additional service is offered free of charge by the SNCB. Please note that your mobile phone operator will charge you for the WAP connection.
How?
It is simple to use and is similar to the search mode used on the ARI CD-ROM or this website.Indicate a departure station, an arrival station, the trip date and the departure or arrival time. Train schedules meeting your search criteria will appear on your mobile phone.
