Combined School Railcards: 50% discount on the TEC and/or STIB portion
Students (age 12 to 24) who hold a combined TEC and/or STIB School Railcard will receive a 50% discount on the non-SNCB portion of the fare, thanks to a third payer system initiative from the French Community.
As from 01/05/2009, this discount will be directly taken into account for new validation rates at the ticket counter. Furthermore, all validations between 01/09/2008 and 01/05/2009 will receive a partial refund.
How can you receive the refund?
Your school department will provide you with the correct refund application form. Please complete the form carefully and remember to include a designated bank account number for the refund. Next, return the form to the counter at your train station when your validation ticket expires.
However, no refunds will be made at the train station. The French Community is responsible for the refund payment.
