B-Excursions : Train + rent a bike

This small country of ours has a great deal to offer. The various regions offer a broad range of beautiful landscapes, each with its own specific temperament and characteristics; they are as diverse as they are unique.

Choose from flat or rolling vistas, woodlands or meadows, polder, farmsteads or Ardenne villages, the coast or the purple heath lands.

The B-Excursion "Train + Rent a Bike" formula is a combination of a 2nd class return train ticket from a station of your choice to one of our cycle-hire stations, and the use of a hire-cycle.

All this from 11,90 EUR per person per day. A very attractive offer, I think you will agree. This can be purchased from any station 31 days prior to departure at the earliest.

Looking for adventure? Try out our mountain bikes in Vielsalm! Here the experienced cyclist can test his/herself against the against the hilly slopes of the Ardennes. A number of routes have also been created for the less trained among us.

IMPORTANT: children's bicycles or children's bicycle seats are not available.

The B-Excursions can be purchased at your local station.

Prices

The price per person is based on the distance between the departure station and the hiring station. This distance is classified in zones with corresponding prices:

  • Zone A: distance between the departure and hiring station is between 1 and 34 km.
  • Zone B: distance between the departure and hiring station is between 35 and 69 km.
  • Zone C: distance between the departure and hiring station is more than 70 km.

Prices for groups (min. 15 pers.)

GROUP train travel and cycling with the "Train + Rent a Bike" formula at even lower prices.

Special group prices are available in the stations of Blankenberge, Brugge, Gent-Sint-Pieters, Hasselt, Knokke, Sint-Truiden, Oostende and Vielsalm.

In order to qualify for these special prices the group must consist of at least 15 paying passengers. One person per 15 paying participants can enjoy the "all-in-formula" free of charge.

The group formula is not application in cases whereonly cycle hire is required, in other words, without using the train.
