Do you require a refund?
Tickets purchased on the Internet :
Tickets purchased on the Internet cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Tickets purchased before the travel date:
These tickets can be refunded in full up to the day before the validity date. This also applies to Railcard validation tickets.
Tickets purchased on the day of travel :
Unused single tickets can be refunded at the counter against an administrative fee of 5,00 EUR* within one hour of purchase.
Return tickets which are totally unused:
Only unused tickets can be refunded, on condition that the outward/return journey cannot take place between the validity date of the outward journey and the reimbursement of the ticket. Tickets that are returned before the journey date, are fully refundable. If the tickets are returned on the journey date, an administrative fee of 5,00 EUR* will be deducted from the refund amount.
2nd class travel with 1st class tickets :
No 1st class seats available. Ask the train staff for a declaration, which you can present at any station within 15 days following your travel date. The difference in price between the two classes will be refunded in full.
