What if you were unable to buy a ticket?
There's just one rule - tell the train staff before you board.
They will sort things out for you by issuing you with a ticket for an additional administrative fee of 3,00 EUR*. This extra charge will not be made:
- if you are setting out from a stop-down or if tickets were not on sale when you boarded.
- if you hold a Free Carer Card or a National Discount Card.
You need to know ...
You can't buy all kinds of ticket on trains. Only standard tickets, discount tickets and tickets for pets can be issued on board trains.
