Where and when to buy?
To travel by rail, you must hold a valid ticket purchased before you board.
On the internet
You can buy your tickets on line from our site and print them out! Quick and easy, and, above all, practical. Browse our site now - Ticket on line You can also buy your railcard validation ticket directly.
From an automatic dispenser
If there's a queue at the ticket office, just go to an automatic dispenser in the station. During open hours at your station, you can buy various types of ticket here and pay using a Bancontact/MisterCash or Proton card.

At station tickets office
You can also go to the counter to buy your ticket 31 days before you intend to travel. You can even validate your Railcard 31 days in advance. You can also go here in advance to buy multi-trip tickets, such as Go Pass or the Key Card, …). And you can buy your ticket in a station other than the one you will be setting out from.
On the train
If for some reason you have been unable to buy a ticket before boarding the train or immediately after departure, you will be deemed to be a passenger who has no valid ticket.
Please note the following:
- If you buy a ticket from the on-board staff, you will have to pay an additional administrative fee of 3,00 EUR*.
Exceptions are made:
- if you are leaving an unstaffed station or one where tickets could not be sold.
- if you hold a Free Carer Card or a National Discount Card.
It is impossible to buy multi-trip cards, Passes, B-Excursions or Railcard validations on the train.
