Ticket to and from the airport

station of Brussels National Airport

By rail to the runway ... or almost !

We provide reliable, frequent, fast and affordable connections between Brussels and Charleroi airports and all the other towns in Belgium. And what’s more, with the train, you can forget all about traffic jams and parking problems.

Travelling to Brussels Airport ?

You can now travel to and from Brussels Airport with a Standard ticket (Diabolo surcharge included).

4 trains per hour provide a rapid connection between the centre of Brussels and Brussels Airport. Connections with Thalys and Eurostar are provided at Bruxelles-Midi station.

Attention: As from 04/04/2011, three trains will run between Brussels and Brussel-Nationaal-Luchthaven (Brussels airport) in stead of four. This is one of the solutions to improve punctuality.

If you take the trains which depart in the airport at Brussels National and go via the stations Bruxelles-Nord, Bruxelles-Central and Bruxelles-Midi, you can catch a connecting train in Brussels to most Belgian stations. However, you do not always need to change in Brussels. There are direct connections to Mons, Gent and De Panne.

If you are heading for stations to the East of Brussels, then you no longer even need to go via Brussels and change.

Leuven is directly linked to the airport at Zaventem. The route Leuven – Airport takes barely 15 minutes. On weekdays, there are 2 trains per hour, and 1 per hour at weekends.

The two connections providing a direct link to the airport are:

  • the link between De Panne - Gent – Bruxelles-Midi/Nord - Brussels National Airport - Leuven - Tienen - Landen
  • the link between Nivelles – Bruxelles-Midi/Nord - Brussels National Airport – Leuven.
