How to apply for a Discount card Preferential reimbursement ?

You have to ask your insurance company for a certificate, which you will hand over on request at the station of your choice.

This certificate will be valid for 3 months from date of issue. When applying for a “Preferential reimbursement” discount card for yourself, your spouse or life partner and dependants, all the beneficiaries’ names have to be indicated on this certificate.

Your insurance company can always help you find out whether you meet the conditions.

To be valid, the computerised certificate you receive must state the following:

  • the insurance company's logo in colour
  • the beneficiaries’ surname and first name(s)
  • your address
  • your date of birth
  • the fact that you enjoy the benefits of the VIPO status, OMNIO or Preferential reimbursement

Take the original of the certificate to the station of your choice, and hand it over with your identity card or any other valid document, and a recent identity photo. The Discount card Preferential reimbursement will be handed over to you at the counter free of charge.
