Police
Police officers in uniform can travel free of charge in 2nd class upon presentation of their duty pass (= legitimation card). Valid between two Belgian stations or unguarded stops (except frontier points).
Who is entitled to free travel?
- Officers of the FEDERAL/LOCAL POLICE
- "Police auxiliaries" (former name) or "police agents" (new name) of the LOCAL POLICE.
- Officers of the RAILWAY POLICE (SPC) (the Metro brigade is fully integrated into the SPC). *
- Officers of the FEDERAL/LOCAL POLICE temporarily assigned to the Railway Police (or the Metro Brigade). *
*Also entitled to free travel in 1st class in uniform or civilian clothes upon presentation of their duty pass (= legitimation card) and its annex.
