Luggage lockers and left luggage office
Travelling with bulky luggage and wanting to leave it at the station rather than carting it round with you into town? Well, quite a large number of stations offer you the opportunity to do just that.
In some stations, you can store your luggage in automatic luggage lockers, but you can also hand it in at a left luggage office.
Check if this service is available at the station you are travelling to.
Automatic luggage lockers
Prices per 24 hours:
Small luggage locker – 3,00 EUR
Medium luggage locker – 3,50 EUR
Large luggage locker – 4,00 EUR
Note: If you lose your luggage locker ticket, you will be charged a flat rate fee of 12,50 EUR.
If the item that you have stored in your locker is not retrieved after a few days (check in the station to see how many days), it will be officially moved to the ordinary left luggage depot. From that time onwards, the rates and conditions for left luggage will apply.
Left luggage offices
Price per calendar day per item deposited – 3,80 EUR
When depositing your luggage, you will be given a receipt giving the type, number and even the total weight of the items you have left.
Be careful, any item not claimed within 6 months will be legally put up for sale!
