Parking Cards

car-park with cars

There are many carparks where you can leave your vehicle safely.

Not all car parks are run by the SNCB Group. Some are operated by the SNCB/NMBS Group whilst others are in the hands of concessionaires, the local authorities or the municipal services. Depending on the type of management certain parking formulas may be sold at the ticket offices. The rules that are applicable to your car park depend on the manager. You can read them on site.

Rates are published in the Terms and conditions for transport of the SNCB/NMBS.

What are the advantages of a parking season ticket for a car or motorcycle (>125 cc)?

Do you hold a Railcard or a named free Pass? If so, you can benefit from a parking season ticket at preferential rates.

We even offer à la carte rates, whether you hold a Railcard or not, or even if you don't travel by train!

(1) These are customers who have Railcards (excluding Half-time Railcard, Campus) or named free Passes.

Free parking?

In a number of carparks, we would like to give priority to commuters and regular clients by offering free parking season tickets. These carparks are totally free of charge for bearers of a Railcard, a duty pass or a named free pass.

The following carparks are included:

  • Andenne
  • Genk
  • Gent-Dampoort
  • Huy
  • Jemelle
  • Oostende
  • Roeselare
  • Saint-Ghislain
  • Tienen

What are the conditions for acquiring a free parking card?

  • you are the bearer of a Railcard that is valid for at least 1 month;
  • the carpark station is also the departure or arrival station of your Railcard;

OR

  • the carpark station is the station serving your home and is marked on the itinerary indicated on your Railcard.

The validity of the parking season ticket can be the same as or shorter than that of your Railcard, School Railcard or free Pass; the choice is yours! You may request this season ticket at the counter of the stations concerned.

Going to the station by bike, moped or motorbike (max 125 CC) ?

The SNCB has also thought of tough guys who come to the station on two wheels. The spaces for bikes, mopeds and/or motorbikes (max 125 CC) are free of charge.

There is a charge for automated, secure parking for two-wheelers.
