YELLOW POSTERS/WHITE POSTERS
TIMETABLE BOOKLET
ROUTE PLANNER
You can prepare your journey from door to door using our route planner. For this purpose, all public means of transport are taken into account. It also includes travel on foot, by bike, by taxi or with your own car.
Note: Our journey planner only shows the quickest trains to your destination. For an overview of all our trains, please check the yellow posters.
In order to prepare your journey, please indicate the following:
Route
Indicate in the “From” and “To” boxes your point of departure and destination. This does not necessarily have to be a station or a bus stop. You can choose from:
• Station/Stop: search for the name or part of the name of a station or bus stop of SNCB, De Lijn, STIB or TEC.
• City, street and house number: search for an address, municipality, street and number. Adhere to the sequence advised.
• All types: search for the most suitable solution from the above-mentioned possibilities.
• Postal code/Place of interest: search for a postal code or a place of interest* (e.g. Walibi).
(*) Not all places of interest are listed.
You may also choose the point of departure and destination on a map. For this, you have to click on the “Map” button next to your choice. Then click on “Show map” or select the location on the map.
Time
Specify the date and time of your journey.
Means of transport
If you leave this choice as it is, the most suitable solution will be offered, taking account of “only trains”. However, you can also opt for only travelling by “only regional transport” or "all public means of transport".
If you click on “More” you can fine-tune your request even more. In this way, you can indicate with which trains you would like to travel (international, IC, local, etc.), how often you wish to change trains, how much time you need to change trains, etc. You can also indicate if you would like to do part of the journey on foot, by bike, by taxi or with your own car and for which distance you would like to use this type of transport.
Click on “Confirm”. If there are more possibilities available for your point of departure and/or destination, you may make a choice from the list. Then click once again on “Confirm”.

Result
The most suitable solutions are indicated on the results page. For every solution, you will find the following: departure, destination, date of journey, time of departure and arrival, total journey time, number of transfers and schematic presentation of means of transport.
You can ask for a detailed route for every solution. If this only concerns a route by train, you may immediately ask for the cost of the journey via “Euro” or buy your ticket directly via “buy online” (SNCB – Ticket online). You can consult the list of station services by clicking on the name of the station.
You can ask for a visual presentation of your route via “Map”.
MAP
You can look for a location on the map using this function. Either type in the name of the location and click on “Show map” or zoom in on the map and select your point of departure or destination.
N.B. You cannot select a location in this section as a point of departure or destination. To do this, you must start from the route planner.
YELLOW POSTERS/WHITE POSTERS
Under “Yellow posters / White posters” you will find any information about departures and connections in the station. You can also look up nearby stations or bus stops.
