This tool helps you to calculate the best ticket type for your journey
Enter your departure and destination stations, single or return, the date of the outward journey, how many times you make this trip, any discounts you're entitled to, your travel class and age.
If you'd like to break your journey in one of the stations on your route, or follow a specific itinerary ? Then also enter a "via" station. A "Via" ticket is always issued for a single journey.
Based on those data, the ticket types matching your journey requirements will be shown. The cheapest fare is even highlighted in a different colour and marked
. Do pay attention however to the information in the right column, listing the main product characteristics. For full details, click on the name of the product.
Results are shown as follows:
Ticket type: this is the name of the proposed ticket type. For full details, please click on the name of the product.
Journey fare: this is the cost of the ticket per journey. If you pay for instance EUR 45.00 for a 10-journey pass at the ticket counter, the amount of EUR 4.50 will be stated here, i.e. the fare for 1 journey on your Pass. In some cases a discounted return ticket (Weekend ticket, Senior citizen ticket, …) will turn out cheaper than the standard single-journey ticket, even if you don’t make the return journey. That is why those ticket types will also appear, even when you’re requesting a single journey. In that case, however, the journey fare equals the full ticket price.
