Railcard with choice of reduced employer's legal contribution
As employer, you are responsible for part of the cost of your employees’ Railcards. You may even decide to apply a different percentage, in addition to the employer’s legal contribution. This percentage may be as much as 80% or even more.

Perhaps you are already reimbursing all your staff employer contributions separately? You can make life even simpler.
This is how it works: the passenger only pays part of due cost of the validation of his rail card. If he or she benefits from free travel between work and home, he or she doesn’t have to pay anything else. The SNCB/NMBS bills you, the employer, every month for the part of the price you are responsible for.
In order to be able to benefit from this system, you as employer need to enter into a “third party pays contract" with the SNCB/NMBS.
In this contract, you yourself define the amount of your contribution (as a percentage) to your employees’ travelling costs. This may come to 80% or even more.
