Senior ticket
2 senior passengers in a train

Special rates for the over-65s.

The Senior ticket is always a 2nd class return ticket for 5.00 EUR*.

With a Senior ticket, you can travel after 9.01 from Monday to Friday. In the low season, this time restriction is not applicable on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Would you like to look at the periods of validity  2009 of the senior ticket on the calendar?

Senior tickets are valid between two Belgian stations (frontier points excluded) on domestic trains marked IC, IR, L, P, CR and ICT as well as on conventional international trains marked EC (Vauban, Iris, Jean Monet)

*Prices valid from 1st February 2009

Additional advantage
The return journey can start from a station other than the one where the outward journey ended. Just state your choice when you buy your ticket. You don't need to do this if the station in question is one of the nine seaside stations.

The Senior e-ticket bought through our website:

  • is made out in your name (so it can't be transferred);
  • is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged;
  • doesn't allow for an alternative return journey unless the return journey is from one of the nine seaside stations.

You can print the ticket yourself or link it to your electronic identity card.

Your online payment is being processed via the Ogone secure payment site which uses the most advanced security systems.
