Train and bicycle: a dynamic combination |
 |
 |
 |
|
|
If you'd like to take your bicycle on the train,
there are two ways of doing it:
- a one way trip using the 5,00 EUR* "cycle card and tandemcard" for a bicycle/tandem (+ possibly childtrailer).
- a "one-day card" (libre-parcours d'un jour) which lets you take your bicycle/tandem (+ possibly childtrailer) on the train for 8,00 EUR* all day long anywhere in the country.
|
These cards are valid for one year from their date of purchase. All you have to do is, before you board the train, write in the day (in full) and the date (DD/MM/YYYY) of use.
*prices valid from 1st February 2009 |

-
Each type of train has a different number of places for bicycles.
-
We would advise you, for your own comfort and convenience, to travel with your bicycle at off-peak times.
-
Bicycles and tandems must be loaded and unloaded at the points indicated by the train staff, under their supervision.
-
For loading and unloading in Brussels, we recommend the Brussels Midi and Brussels North stations. It is not possible to load or unload bicycles at the stations of Brussels Central, Brussels Chapelle or Brussels Congres.
