The French Alps - the Tarentaise Valley

ski

Charge your batteries!

Try winter sports once - and you'll be hooked for life! It may be a cliché, but that doesn't mean it's not true. You don't need to be an expert skier or snowboarder to enjoy the majestic mountain scenery or breathe the good mountain air that we so often miss during our Belgian winters ...

The top French ski slopes are in the Tarentaise valley:
'The 3 Valley', the world's greatest skiing area with 600 km of pistes, the Espace Killy bringing together Val d'Isère and Tignes and 'Paradiski' (new to the world of skiing), the area linking Les Arcs, La Plagne, and Peisey-Vallandry.

These skiable areas offer pistes as well suited to beginners as to experienced skiers. As an alternative to skiing, you can also luge with your children, sun-bathe on a peak, explore the mountains on a snow scooter, or just enjoy the magnificent landscapes, the little villages with their typical chalets, the regional cuisine and, last but not least, the après-ski !
